Barry Town travel to face Colwyn Bay in the Cymru Premier on Friday evening. The match at Llanelian Road kicks off at 18:45 UTC as the tenth round of the regular season gets underway.
Gavin Chesterfield's side sit second in the table with 22 points from nine games, three points behind leaders The New Saints. Their recent form shows three wins, one draw and one loss from the last five outings. That run includes a 4-1 home victory over Llandudno and a 2-2 draw with Ammanford AFC last Saturday.
Against Ammanford, Nathan Daley opened the scoring in the 16th minute before Dylan Smith doubled the advantage early in the second half. Ammanford fought back with two goals from Cory Thomas, including a stoppage-time penalty, to snatch a point. In the win over Llandudno, Evan Dugan, Daley, David Barton and Evan Williams all found the net.
Colwyn Bay arrive in good form themselves, having won their last two matches 5-0 and 2-1 against Holywell and GAP Connah's Quay respectively. Barry Town's last starting lineup, from the Llandudno game, featured goalkeeper George Ratcliffe behind a defence of Macauley George, Evan Williams, Curtis Sainty and Nathan Daley. The midfield and attack included David Barton, Tom Wharton, Jordan Lester, Evan Dugan, Jamie Shaw and Will Richards.
Following this trip, Barry Town's next fixture is at home to Trefelin on 30 October.
