Barry Town secured a vital three points on the road with a 1-0 victory over Caernarfon Town on Saturday. N. Daley scored the only goal of the game in the tenth minute to set up a win that lifts Barry Town to fourth place in the Cymru Premier standings.

The visitors started brightly and were rewarded when Daley found the net early on. Barry Town managed the game well for long periods, but their task became more difficult when O. Cuddihy received a second yellow card and was sent off in the 82nd minute. The team had to defend resolutely with ten men for the final stages to preserve their lead.

Manager Gavin Chesterfield made several changes to see out the game. J. Crosbie came on for E. Dugan just before half-time, while K. Davies replaced the goalscorer Daley shortly after the red card. J. Bernard was introduced in stoppage time for D. Barton as Barry Town closed out the match.

This result gives Barry Town 25 points from 12 games, solidifying their position in the top four and keeping them in the European qualification picture. The win follows a mixed run of form, but provides a positive platform ahead of their next match at home to Trefelin on October 30.
