Barry Town's Ieuan Owen has completed a move to Kilmarnock FC, signing a two-year deal with the Scottish club. The 20-year-old striker joins Killie for an undisclosed fee, having impressed in the JD Cymru Premier with 19 goals in all competitions, including 11 in the league. Ieuan's signing is a coup for Killie, who are looking to refresh their squad ahead of the 2026/27 season. The youngster also contributed with four assists in his 42 appearances for Barry Town last season, which culminated with him being named in the Team of the Season at the FAW National League Awards. Ieuan dominated the headlines in February when he scored both goals in a 2-0 victory over The New Saints as Barry lifted the Nathaniel MG Cup Final - their first top-flight silverware in over two decades. The youngster also showed exemplary fitness levels, playing in every league match for Barry over the course of the 2025/26 season. Ieuan previously had an impressive scoring record in the Cymru South with Afan Lido, netting 15 goals in 25 games, which earned him the move to Barry Town two years ago.
